A quick snack- Toaster Pizza

This is a super quick snack to make and eat on the go. Just take a piece of bread and spread a big spoonful of tomato sauce on top. Add a couple slices of cheese and some pepperoni on top.

Set your toaster sideways and pop them in. make sure to lift the toaster handle up yourself or when the timer on the toaster is finished, it will pop up and come flying out and onto the floor. face down, of course.

Enjoy!

While your chicken in frying, boil a pot of noodles.

While your noodles are boiling, make your sauce.

To do this, melt 1 tbsp. butter on low heat.
add 1 Tbsp. flour or corn starch. mix
Next, add 1 cup of milk and desired amount of spices.
Bring to a simmer, and add  parmesan cheese.
let simmer for a couple minutes, then set aside.

When noodles and sauce are done, mix them together. Lit sit for 5-10 minutes if the sauce needs thickening more.

Add chicken, and eat!

Purple Scrap Pencil Skirt

I made this skirt out of leftover black and purple knit I had. I'm sorry I don't have instructions, but it was super simple.
All I did was cut long, rectangular strips out of the knit, about 4x24. Then I sewed the strips onto a piece of cotton. and sewed the cotton to a piece of knit for the back of the skirt. Then I put an elastic band/belt over the top. the end.

Nasty Old Apartments

I could go on for awhile about all the problems that exist in BYU housing from overpriced laundry machines to toilets that drip water into your kitchen, but you all know these things and have your own unique set of BYU housing experiences (I would love to hear some BTW. Tell me your worst story in the comments below.)

Well this week, I found flour beetles in my flour. yuk. I am 99% positive that these lovely creatures came with my apartment. They were living off of a bag of flour that I shoved in the back corner of one of my cupboards when we first moved in. We have lived here for 11 months, which gave those little buggies plenty of time to reproduce. It was not a pretty sight. And I had to throw away 30 pounds of infested flour.  gross.

So I decided it was time for a little spring cleaning. I am devoting the remainder of my week to cleaning out every nook and cranny of my house. I want every one of those bugs to die twice over. So if I don't post a lot this week, it is because I'm busy murdering beetles in my kitchen.
